Activision’s Skylanders SWAP Force continues to build upon the success of the award-winning franchise’s signature gameplay and collectible toy experience with the introduction of an innovative feature – dynamic swapability. Kids and gamers will have unprecedented levels of choice in how they explore Skylands and battle Kaos by swapping the top and bottom halves of the toys to transform 16 SWAP ForceTM characters into more than 250 unique combinations. Set in a richly detailed world of next generation visual fidelity, Skylanders SWAP Force takes kids on an all-new adventure with 32 never-before-seen heroic characters that each offer unique powers and personalities. The game also features new abilities – such as flying, climbing, and teleporting – which can be used in special areas of Skylands. Additionally, fans can play with their entire collection of 100+, forward-compatible toys from both Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure and Skylanders Giants. Skylanders SWAP Force is set to release in North America on October 13, Australia on October 16 and Europe on October 18. Fans can pre-order Skylanders SWAP Force Starter Packs worldwide beginning on June 7; all games pre-ordered at participating retailers worldwide also will come with a free Skylanders toy. Suggested retail pricing: starter pack, $74.99; individual action figures, $9.99 for core characters, $14.99 for new SWAP Force characters. Destiny E3 2013 Gameplay Trailer and Screenshots

Call of Duty Ghosts All Access Broadcast and New Screenshots Released

Let the games begin. Activision Publishing, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision Blizzard , kicked-off E3 early this year with an unprecedented live telecast to fans around the world, showcasing a first look at new gameplay from the upcoming Call of Duty: Ghosts. Featuring an all-new world, new story, new characters and new experiences, all powered by a new, next-gen engine, Call of Duty: Ghosts is not only a stunning leap forward for the mega-hit franchise, but also showcases what’s possible on next generation consoles. Hosted by Spike TV’s Geoff Keighley and Internet personality iJustine, the live 30-minute broadcast titled “Call of Duty: Ghosts All Access”gave fans of the worldwide phenomenon the first chance to go behind the scenes with Activision’s acclaimed studio Infinity Ward, for a look at the upcoming title two days before the start of 2013 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3 Expo).

“Every year our team puts on an amazing production to showcase our games at E3, a spectacle that delivers an epic, immersive experience that takes your breath away. Yet all our fans aren’t able to be here and share in the moment,” said Activision Publishing CEO, Eric Hirshberg. “So, since our fans can’t come to E3, we’re bringing E3 to them. This year we’re making sure the Call of Duty community is first in line to see Call of Duty: Ghosts as we kick-off what’s going to be a historic week.”

Call of Duty is bringing E3 to its fans early. Join hosts Geoff Keighley and Justine Ezarik this Sunday for Call of Duty: Ghosts – All-Access, a live, 30-minute broadcast featuring an exclusive first look at gameplay levels from the title, as well as exclusive behind the scenes footage, interviews with the Infinity Ward team, and more.
